Our Human Machine Interface products have varying display sizes from 6.4" to 19", with touch screens and keyboards, with computer architectures ranging from RISC-based ARM processors to the latest Pentium CPU technology, and form factors to accommodate panel, wall, rack or free standing mounting. Our Human Machine Interface product family provides hardware platforms such as industrial panel PC, flat panel monitor, and thin panel PCs.

- Touch Panel Computers (TPC) - These thin, stylish products come in varying sizes and processor architectures providing a complete human machine interface solution using standard operating systems including Windows CE and embedded Windows XP.
- Flat Panel Monitors (FPM) - This series is available with a wide range of screen sizes and different touch screen options, which provides the user with a durable, comfortable and reliable information interface.
- Industrial Panel PCs (IPPC) - With ruggedized housing and various panel sizes, the Industrial Panel PC series offers great flexibility, capable of meeting the needs of harsh industrial field deployments.
- Industrial Workstations - The compact and heavy-duty industrial workstations are specially designed to meet needs across diverse industrial applications. The AWS Series provides multiple CPU choices from low level 586 to Pentium 4 and supports 4 to 14 PCI/ISA passive backplanes. These fit with Advantech's PC-based I/O cards, such as its digital/analog, motion, vision, and communication cards.
Touch Panel Computers (TPC) - Compact & Rugged HMI Platforms for Seamless Interaction between Humans and Machines
The ultra slim, light, fanless and vibration-resistant design of Advantech Industrial Touch Screen series (TPC) provides an ideal human machine interface platform for most automation applications. The Industrial Touch Screen (TPC) products are available in display sized of 5.7", 6.4", 10.4", 12.1", and 15". Advantech's Industrial Touch Screen series feature ARM, Transmeta Crusoe, and Intel processors that have low power consumption and do not require a fan, which makes them ideal for industrial environments. In addition, the product housings are made from a magnesium alloy, which results in light weight, corrosion resistance and excellent heat dissipation.
The TPC series products are powerful all-in-one computers with LCD displays and touchscreens that come standard with multiple serial ports, USB, Ethernet, CompactFlash , and PCMCIA ports. The products can be equipped with hard drives and are available with virtually all OS options, including Windows CE, Linux, and Windows XP Embedded. In most applications, the TPC product comes standard with all the features you need, however, it also has expansion capability thru PCI104 or PC/104-Plus for those special applications. An optional kit is also available for installing standard PCI add-on cards.
While the TPC products are slim and compact, they are also designed to be installed in a number of ways. The TPCs can be panel-mounted, wall-mounted, attached to a swing arm, or placed on a desktop with an elegant stand.
Flat Panel Monitors (FPM) - Full Range of Industrial-grade Units with Multifunction Capabilities and Brilliant Displays
Advantech's flat panel monitors are designed specifically for industrial environments. The flat panel monitors feature industrial grade flat panel LCDs with brightness often more than twice that of commercial monitors, making them easier to see.
The FPM products are designed for factory floor environments and can withstand the higher temperatures, vibration, dirt and dust that are commonplace. High NEMA and IP ratings for the bezel design enable these products to be installed in wet and dusty areas. Constructed with stainless steel chassis, these products are rugged but also compact.
Industrial Panel Computers (IPPC) - Powerful Computing and Robust Platforms with High Performance for Factory Floors
Advantech's Industrial Panel Computers have proved their reliability through years of operation in all parts of the world. The robust design and compact size of the IPPC Series make it a good fit for almost any industrial application. Constructed with a stainless steel chassis and heavy-duty aluminum front panel, the rugged design of Advantech's Industrial Panel Computers stand up to tough industrial environments. Equipped with powerful Intel Pentium III & 4 processors, the IPPC has high computing power, but also provides expansion slots for add-on cards.
The all-metal product design includes a standard aluminum bezel that is 10mm thick and provides a NEMA4/IP65 seal rating when installed in your panel. The bezel is attached to a stainless steel chassis, and an optional stainless steel bezel can be provided for applications requiring NEMA4X ratings. Advantech's Industrial Panel Computers are designed so they can be built to achieve the performance and cost tradeoff that is optimum for your industrial applications. The Industrial Panel Computers are available in different display sizes and can be built with Celeron Pentium, Pentium III, and Pentium 4 processors. They can also be configured with the memory, drives, and operating System that meet your needs.

Advantech provides a series of powerful industrial workstations with open architecture that incorporates widely used PC technology for industrial platforms.
